Typically, when you book a standard voiceover session, you send a script and receive audio based on Dawn’s interpretation of the brief. That works well for straightforward projects. But some projects need a more specific energy, a precise emotional beat, or a particular pace that’s hard to put into words in the copy.
A live directed session solves that. You hear the takes in real time, you can ask for adjustments on the spot, and the final recording reflects exactly the direction you gave.
A mutually agreed upon time for recording will be arranged. Dawn is based in the Pacific time zone — please factor that in when suggesting windows. You will send the platform link of your choice to Dawn the day before or sooner. Then you will send the script with general specs. If you have any rough cuts of video or audio that is helpful to hear ahead of time.
The session runs up to 45 minutes via your preferred remote connection platform which includes Zoom, Source-Connect, Cleanfeed, or phone. You direct in real time, Dawn records, and you leave the session with confidence knowing you have a variety of takes needed for your project.
Edited, final audio files are delivered after the session, clean, named, and ready for your production workflow.
